Through the Shift Nudge course, I developed core interface design skills even without a design background. I learned practical typography principles for better readability, effective layout techniques to organize information, and methods for selecting colors that work well together. The course taught me how to establish consistent design direction, create usable interface elements, and apply real-world tactics that professional designers use every day. These fundamentals have given me a structured approach to design decisions that I've applied directly to my projects. 


I know that taking a course is just the beginning—becoming skilled at design takes lots of practice to turn theory into instinct. Taking the Shift Nudge course definitely boosted my confidence as a beginner designer. There's nothing like applying what you've learned to actual projects to help turn design concepts into practical skills.
